Drizgas Tech Inbuilt Fume Hood scrubber is used to filter out acids and prevent them from being released into the environment. The scrubber is built-in as an integral part of the Hood. Fume Hoods protect users from toxic fumes released by acids, hazardous gas and organic solvents which regular steel hoods might not withstand.
Inbuilt fume hood scrubbers has been specifically designed to stay inside laboratory fume hoods. Contaminated air enters through two inlet ports from the bottom side of the Fume hood Scrubber and passes vertically upwards through a packed bed.
The scrubbing liquid is uniformly introduced above the packings and flows down through packed bed. The air and the scrubbing liquid pass in a counter-current flow for efficient gas/liquid contact.
The scrubbing of gases occurs within the scope of the fume hood scrubber before the gas is exhausted into the ductwork and shields valuable building ventilation systems.
Its upper mist eliminator prevents mist from reaching the exhaust fan then it passes through the reducer and clean gas exits the system.
