Tellerette packings

Drizgas Tellerette packing materials are high efficiency plastic tower packing designed for use in wet scrubber. Drizgas is the one of leading manufacturer of Tellerete packing materials in India. This has more interstitial hold up points than other packings and this has the effect of continuously generating fresh liquid surface area which is the key for high mass transfer between gas and liquid phase.

Working principle of tellerette packing

In the scrubber column, the packing is filled and liquid is sprayed at the opposite direction. First, the liquid is collected by inertial impaction to form countless droplets. As each droplets falls on the next packing elements and burst, exposing fresh surfaces to gas. This dispersal cycle repeats continuously.

Lower HTU (Height of Transfer Unit) causes shorter packing height
Higher gas flow rate capacity which allows use of smaller diameter
