Double sided fume hood

Double sided fume hood is usually used as a standalone demonstration style hood and also experiment carried out in school and college labs. It’s also suitable for light chemistry process laboratories. This fume hood gives an excellent teaching and demonstration facility which provides an unobstructed view for the trainer and activity.

These hoods have sashes on two sides of the fume hood allowing operation on either side of the hood. They have glass end walls and centre baffles which provide excellent view through hood. Both sashes cannot be open at the identical time for hood to contain fumes. To prevent the simultaneous working of hood, an audible alarm and sash interlock will be provided.

This fume hood is offered with dual wall construction for superior chemical resistance, strength and durability. It also provides space for electrical and plumbing fixtures. The face opening with air foil provides uniform air flow into the fume chamber and through the baffle system.
